💦 Jo has been back in the water developing her skills! 💦
💦 Our lovely director Jo, recently attended the Aquatic Physiotherapy for Spinal Cord Injury course at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, led by aquatic physiotherapy expert Julie Dixon.
The course explored how water-based therapy can support our clients early stage and long-term rehabilitation from complete and incomplete spinal cord injuries. A combination of theory and practical learning in the pool, gave Jo the chance to deepen her understanding of how aquatic physiotherapy can help these clients.
It was a really positive day of learning for Jo and she came back with lots of new and refreshed knowledge that she can use in the pool to help our StarPhysio families. 💦
